Available for Adoption: Stella

I had the opportunity to meet the gorgeous Stella a couple of weeks ago at DC Rescue Dogs. She has had a very rough start but is so loving and just wants a new best friend forever. She was an absolute superstar standing for her photos to be taken, and was really happy to be the center of attention.

White greyhound cross dog available for adoption in New Zealand

Here’s what Cherie from DC Rescue Dogs has to say about her:
Stella was found alone and scared and shaking, no one was looking for her, which is probably just as well as she had what looked like cigarette/lighter burns to her ears 🙁
She is a sweet heart who just wants to please.

Breed: Mixed, possibly grey hound x
Age: unknown but appears to be on the young side. 1-2 years?

Stella needs a family that will show her endless love, a family that will let her be part of the family and sleep inside nice and warm, a family that will take her out on exciting adventures and love her for the rest of her days. Somewhere she doesn’t have to worry about being hurt again.
Stella will follow you around like a shadow, she will come in the car with you and she will sit next to you and listen to how your day was.

All Stella wants is a home where she is safe.
Do you have a safe home for Stella?

Great with other dogs, Stella would be the ideal second dog.
Stella shows a bit too much interest in cats, so her ideal home is without cats or chickens.

Stella will go to her new home desexed, had 1st vaccination, microchipped, registration with NZCAR, council registration, worm/flea treated so an adoption donation of $150 is asked to help recover part of her rescue costs.

Owner occupied/fully fenced properties are a condition of adoption.

Stella is currently fostered on a lifestyle block and comes out for walks in the paddocks on lead amongst the horses and cow.
