Project 52: Something New

The theme for Project 52 this week is “Something New”. I chose to use a new location. This is a location that I had been meaning to photograph the dogs at for a while now and had never gotten around to. This week was the push I needed to get over there, and I was joined by my friend Carol from Carol Howell Photography.

Flick put her paw up to come along as a model!

The light in this spot is absolutely stunning. Who better to model it than Teddy?

Big smiles from Flicka. She thought it was a great spot to visit!

Here’s Carol working her magic with Flick and Ted – these photos were taken only minutes apart as the sun set. Both dogs absolutely adore her and it was great to have an extra set of hands to help with the posing. We took turns with the dog wrangling and she got some great photos too. You can see a few of Carol’s shots on her Facebook page here.

The Beautiful Beasties Project 52 is a global blog circle working to a set theme each week. Follow the links at the bottom of each post to see all the work from around the world, until you end up back here. Next up is Barking Lab Studio, from Princeton New Jersey who specialise in dog photography.

Deanna - This is great, you have a cool new location and beautiful photos.

Tara Sutherland - I think I love it as a location! And Flick with her paw up …. sweet!
